Advanced Character Animation
Matýšek, Michal ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Kajan, Rudolf (advisor)
This thesis describes modern real-time character animation techniques and their implementation in C++ language using DirectX and PhysX libraries. The first part of the text deals with a presentation of selected animation principles and is focused mailny on key-frame animation, skeletal animation, morphing and ragdoll simulation. Then follows a description of used DirectX and PhysX libraries and description of motion capturing, using iPi Desktop Motion Capture software. The second part of this thesis is focused on particular ways of implementation of the described animation techniques.
Automorphing of the Image Pairs
Čermák, Pavel ; Nečas, Ondřej (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis I deal with creating automorphing between source and destination image. The thesis describes existing methods and algorithms for creating morphing. The thesis focuses on the design and implementation methods for creating automorphing. For this purpose it is necessary to detect significant points in the image, find correspondence of to these points and create your own morphing.
Image Morphing and Warping
Kuběna, Petr ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
Warping and morphing are computer effects that are mainly used in show-bussines. Thessis contains procedures and techniques that are necessary for their creation. It is aimed at work with discrete two-dimensional image. Integral part is the demo program, which allow users to create such effects.
Evaluation of Fingerprint Morphing Methods Compared to a Real System
Kolínek, Daniel ; Kanich, Ondřej (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design methods of fingerprint morphing, subsequently to implement the proposed methods and to test their effectiveness by breaking into real verification systems made by Innovatrics and Neurotechnology, two prominent companies in biometrics. Methods for morphing were designed mainly based on the article On the Feasibility of Creating Double-Identity Fingerprints where the part of the preparation of fingerprints on the input was modified and an adjustment of the output was made so that it is able to work with fingerprint images taken under different conditions. Fingerprints created by morphing were recognized as genuine in 41.72 % of cases when compared to the default threshold. The main benefit of this work is the created application for generating fingerprints using morphing and to point out that this method is a\,threat to existing systems used for fingerprint recognition.
Aerodynamic analysis of morphing geometry application to sailplane winglet design
Teaching-space paradigm
Peřina, Jan ; Maršíková, Hana (referee) ; Sládeček, Svatopluk (advisor)
The contemporary building of the faculty of architecture is not sufficient anymore and we have to migrate. However, either the new building isn´t enough for nowadays needs. It will have to spread, it will be growing, it will be added, so be it, building and planning to. How will the Faculty of architecture look like? And what would it mean?
Revocable Fingerprint Created by Morphing
Tilgner, Jan ; Semerád, Lukáš (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the development of an application that will be able to ge- nerate a morphed fingerprint by combining an input fingerprint with a suitable synthetic fingerprint from a database so that the resulting morph matches revocable biometrics. The issue of fingerprint morphing is still a little explored area and in combination with revoca- ble biometry, this paper is unique. The described functionality will be added to an existing application to create a morphed fingerprint. In this work, the theoretical knowledge requi- red to implement this application has been described step by step, and an algorithm for generating revocable morphs based on splitting the original fingerprint into segments and then creating morphs from these segments has been proposed. Subsequently, this algorithm was implemented and tested using the VeriFinger tool. The algorithm for splitting the print into 6 and 10 segments achieved the best results. For 6 segments, the algorithm achieved an average similarity score to the original fingerprint of 52.1, where always approximately 60% of the generated morphs were suitable for matching. For 10 segments, the score was 54.64 with a similar proportion of suitable morphs. When comparing morphs against each other, the algorithm achieved a score of 10.5 with 6 segments and 16.28 with 10 segments. The proportion of positive comparisons was below 10% for 6 segments and around 10 to 15% for 10 segments.
